First and foremost, always pick foods that are lean meat. My choice of meats would be chicken, of course, and turkey meat. OK turkey meat is very tricky, if any of you have cooked with turkey meat you'll know what I mean.
Turkey meat has a very weird texture....if you let it thaw to much, you basically end up with pink slim,,,,YUCK! This has happened to me a numbers of time. Not through my own fault but my fiancee's! I told her, "Take out the meat to thaw so when I get home I can make stuffed turkey burgers." Uh yea....cut to 4 hours later, I come home, the meat is in a bowl of water puffed out... Needless to say I didn't make stuffed turkey burgers that night...instead I made meals for the rest of the week. And this is how I learned out to create my own meals.
After you decide what type of meats you prefer, you need to make sure that you have of course your greens and your carbs...i choose brown rice (the healthier choice haha) and my black means. As you can see I have corn as well.....and well that is just my personal preference...I love corn, BUT NO BUTTER!
So there you have it,,,a weeks worth of food. You can eat them for lunch or dinner....shoot you can even have it for breakfast if you want. I've never tried them for breakfast but knock yourself out!
